Position Summary

The Senior Account Manager – Display is expected to be familiar with all account details as they pertain to media buy. This position assists in the development and execution of media plans under the direction of Media Director. The successful candidate will possess an expertise in evaluation, negotiation, planning and purchasing of online media. The person who holds this position is expected to have a firm grasp of assigned accounts and to be a steward of the entire planning process.

Education/Work Experience

  • 3 years plus experience in digital media planning and/or buying
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate, and effectively communicate various media research data
  • Extremely comfortable working with numbers and Excel spread sheets
  • Demonstrate professional, proper techniques and etiquette when dealing with individuals internally and externally through all means of communication at all times
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications

Job Description

  • Assist in developing media strategies
  • Maintain media plans and monitor client budgets
  • Assist with preparation of media plan presentation elements
  • Aid in the management of general media department solicitations
  • Work with sites to resolve any campaign set up issues, tracking issues or billing issues
  • Monitor and QA creative units after campaign launches to ensure accurate implementation and work closely with the media analytics team
  • Assist preparation and distribution of Insertion Orders/RFPs for media buys
  • Assist team members on your specific account(s) for accurate timelines, that projects adhere to budget, and that all outgoing documents are clean
  • Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with clients as well as vendors
  • Media Visor, DART, and Brand FX experience a plus but not a requirement
