Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join a leading cosmetic brand in the heart of London.

The successful candidate will be responsible supporting the Group Digital and Ecommerce Manager (GDEM) in all digital and social media brand activities. You will also be expected to work closely with the Online Manager to help maximise the Ecommerce side of the business, helping to create synergy between digital, social and ecommerce activity.

You will help support, develop and implement all digital brand and social media initiatives to drive brand engagement and advocacy as part of integrated brand communications. You will be responsible for implementing all digital programmes from campaign briefing to monitoring and measurement of performance.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the marketing, communication, sales and education teams in order to ensure that all brand initiatives are fully integrated.

My client is ideally looking for a highly experienced and well-rounded online marketer with sound technical understanding, which will include knowledge of Internet marketing tactics, such as SEO/SEM/PPC, email, web analytics, social media, mobile and video etc

Key responsibilities will include:

Digital Marketing:

• The Digital Coordinator will have responsibility for helping support the GDEM in defining the digital strategy in conjunction with the brand to deliver innovation and increase the brands digital presence within the wider marketing and online strategy. This needs to be done in synergy with the wider marketing strategy.

  • · Help to initiate new digital programmes for the UK marketing calendar including working with their nominated digital advertising agency. Work closely with the ecommerce team to ensure all site digital assets are received on time and to plan with the UK refresh calendar.

• Liaise with the Global Digital Department in the US teams for development of UK approved digital programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the GDEM to strongly influencing the program development, to make them fit with and meet the needs of the UK market.

• You will be responsible for input into the brands Social Media activity, helping to define how they engage with existing and new fans, responding to fan engagement and brand monitoring. This needs to be done in close collaboration with all key departments within the brand.

• The successful candidate must have very strong communication and negotiation skills and be able to work with many stakeholders.  Help to elevate the awareness and understanding of digital marketing internally.

• Identify new digital innovations and opportunities and define if and how the brand should engage.

• Identify and utilise Consumer Insights & online behaviour to make informed targeting and campaigns, and explore new initiatives and developments which can be brand enhancing.

• Identify and implement opportunities within mobile marketing and video to drive consumer engagement for both retention and acquisition.

 

Search:

• Helping the GDEM to develop a brand search strategy (ongoing and tactical)

• Natural – Ensure site is optimised for natural search, working with design and engineering teams, and to maximise on-site relevant content/link building

 

Social Media:

  • Working alongside the Ecommerce team, help to drive  and implement the social strategy
  • Monitoring key competitor activity across the social media space and report key learning’s with the brand and rest of online team.
  • Present the Brands social media learning’s during the cross brand Social Media Forum

Digital Retail Partnerships:

  • Work with the 7 key retail partners to indentify social media opportunities and execute these in collaboration with the ecommerce team.
  • Indentify in-store opportunities with retailers that can be elevated digitally

 

Digital Reporting:

• Implement tracking and KPI’s for each campaign so all activity is accountable and measurable.

• Continually analyse digital performance to make ongoing adjustments and recommendations to improve return on investments.
